Apple is all set to unveil the iPhone 17 series in September 2025. This year’s launch is expected to be the most innovative and design-forward in recent history. The series will include four models, including a new slim variant called the iPhone 17 Air.

iPhone 17
The iPhone 17 series is likely to be launched in the second week of September. Apple generally opens pre-orders within three days of the launch event, followed by global sales within a week. This timeline is expected to remain the same in 2025.
There will be four models this year: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The Air model is a fresh addition, replacing the older Plus version. It promises a lightweight and ultra-thin profile.
Design and Build Quality
The iPhone 17 and 17 Air will feature aluminum frames with curved corners. The Pro models will switch from titanium to a more refined aluminum-glass fusion. This not only reduces weight but also offers better thermal management and durability.
The Pro models will come with a new horizontal camera design and repositioned Apple logo. This makes them visually distinct from previous generations. The Air model, in particular, is expected to be the thinnest iPhone ever made.
